Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I live at home and recently moved in with my biological parents. Every time I leave their home they go in my room and start looking through my personal belongings. There claim is that they are looking for my prescription pills. I believe they are both manipulating me and my sister who is older than I had similar issues with abatement growing up. Is this equivalent to provocation on their part?

Whatever it is you mean by "provocation ", and whatever it is you're asking, I think the answer is "no". If you're a minor, your parents have a legal right to go through your stuff, whether you like it or not. And even if you're 18 or over, if you've chosen to live with them, that's probably just something you've impliedly chosen to put up with (if you ron't like it, move out). I don't have any idea what you're talking about when you say "abatement" (I know perfectly well what it means in a legal context, but that wouldn't make any sense here, so it's one of those "I don't think that word means what you think it means" situations). Whatever type of action you're thinking about taking to retaliate against your parents, please just don't--you will almost certainly not have a legal defense to justify doing anything here, and you can end up in a lot of trouble. If you're having problems and can't work them out with your parents, try talking to someone else, perhaps a counselor or therapist. Good luck.
