1 Answer from Attorneys
It is important to not relay the facts of your case on a public website. The court should appoint you an attorney. Outright dismissal may or may not be an option. Many jurisdictions have a diversion program which would avoid a criminal records. Ask for an attorney from the court at your first appearance. They will provide forms for you to complete. Some courts will advise you before the hearing of their diversion program.
