Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Hi, i live in texas im a defendant in a criminal case, today in the clerk said that my case was a psi?....before notifying me that the judge will be in a trial, and all cases will be deferred. To later date. My question is what does psi mean?

This is an abbreviation for pre sentence investigation. All felony defendents are entitled to a PSI before sentencing. If you applied for probation you will usually get a psi.
