How long does Harris CO. TX keep criminal records, and how far back can you search for one?

Harris County Criminal Records/location
They keep all court records, either in hard copy form or on Microfilm for ever. Check with the Criminal Courts Clerk in the Harris County Criminal Courts Building, I believe it's on San Jacinto Street
