Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
i was lock up nov.16,2011 for a selfdefence stabbing and was taken to a house to be areign by a judge.,my question is how many days does the court have to send me a court date?.

If you are an adult and chared with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, the State had only 90 days in which to indict you or you are entitled to a PR bond or a bond you can make. As far as court dates, they do not have to keep putting your case on the docket but you should have a lawyer working on the case whether hired or appointed.
Trial settings vary based on the capacity of the court's docket.
