Once the matter in the county where the defendant is arrested is resolved, the other state will be contacted to transport the defendant to that state. Generally if the state does not arrange for transportation in 10 days, the defendant will be released. However the warran from the other state will remain outstanding and the defendant may have to go through this exercise on each arrest.
