Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
How long will misdemeanor last
I was convicted and found guilty of a misdemeanor class C for shoplifting 3 years ago. My sentence was just to pay a fine thats all no probation or anything. I would like to know how long this conviction last in my records and if it is at all possible for it to be removed in the future and what needs to be done.

The conviction will remain on your record unless you are pardoned by the Governor of the State of Texas.
