Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Making False Statements

My husband and I were arguing about a ex of his and he stated that he was considering for us to get an divorce. I thought he was thinking about going back to her so while were arguing I called the police and they heard alot of arguing and when they came I told them my husband raped and beat me with a belt. They charged him with domestic violence and sexual assault and he went to jail. He is already on felony probation and his probation could get revoked. So, my question is what will happen to me for making the false statement?

Re: Making False Statements

Get a lawyer, and get this straightened out. You may or may not face any consequences, but this is a serious wrong that needs to be corrected.
