Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
If a man violates felony probation, and goes to jail on that warrant, then bonds out, is probation required to notify the violated that they are going to revoke his probation?

When they file a motion to revoke the probation a warrant issues and that is all the notice that is required or needed. The man was not very smart to bond out on the new case when he was on a felony probation because chances are / were that a warrant wuld issue for the probation violation . . .
