Marijuana Possession - Wrongful!
I was arrested over the weekend for a poss of mj 2 oz. However, the vehicle and marijuana were not mine as admitted to by the driver (owner) of the marijuana. The driver gave consent to search and found the mj placed under the driver's seat and the joint behind their seat as well. Granted, we were both smoking it but not in view of the cop. I had nothing on my person when he approached. They arrested both of us. Do I have grounds to fight this? Possible dismissal? Any good crim law lawyers you can recommend in San Antonio? My first offense. Please help!

Yes you have a chance at fighting this. Even if you are unsuccessful at a Motion to Suppress, the attorney should be able to negotiate a reasonable plea. Email me, and I can give you referrals in San Antontio.
