I am sorry but we don't handle cases outside of California.

Texas has a career criminal statute very much like our three strikes. Except they make no bones about the three offenses being violent crimes. One idividual that is in prison for life wrote a bad check for either $200.00 or $400.00. His case went to the U. S. Supreme Court and th court held that a sentence of life in prison for a bad check of such a nominal sum was not stange or unusual punishment. So my question to you, "Is this your first or second felony offense?"
