Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

mentally disabled prisoner abused by incompetent medical staff

Schizophrenic 23 year old prisoner with medical record copies showing abuse and neglect by psychiatrists, pschologists, and medical staff in the prison system. Now has physical injuries from incorrect unmonitored medications over a year ago. Never been treated. Currently totally psychotic and on no medications. How can prisoner be moved into a hospital? Does it have to be a state hospital? What is the procedure and who would I contact in TDCJ? Thank you.

TDCJ mental question

TDCJ has an internal Inmate's Assistance legal staff. One of my friend, John Bennett is on it. I don't have his direct line, but you should be able to get it thru prisoner's information at 409-295-6371. You might give him a call and he can probably point you in the right direction. You can tell him I suggested you callTCDJ has several mental treatment facitities.
