MIC, MIP, and Possession

I am 17 years old but was 16 on my first offense when i got pulled over and charged with MIP of tobacco and possession of drug par. (seeds and stems). Two nights later i was helpin a buddy look for a wallet and was sittin in his car makin sure the lights were where he needed them and the cops showed up and charged me with a minor in consumption citation. Both of them were written as citations. What are going to be to consiquinces for both violations??

Re: MIC, MIP, and Possession

All three charges might be Class C (the possession is probably a Class C -- but depending upon the actual charge, could be a Class B).

They need to be handled by an attorney -- as a conviction for one, will enhance the punishment for the others, and deferred adjudication is considered a conviction for punishment purposes.

Youare also at risk of losing your driver's license.

Also, although you are cited to appear in Municipal Court, the charges arose while you were still a juvenile.
