Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
can a minor give consent to be searched, or does a parent have to ok it for it to be considered a legal search?

A minor can give consent to search depending on what / where is searched. If it is the minor's car or packback - absolutely. If it is a home in which the minor lives and the parents are not home, probably.
