I was arrested for possesions of a controlled substance that wasn't mine and the person who it actually belonged to was at the time a minor (16) so they wouldn't let her sign an affiedavit can she now the she has turned 18 sign it ? and if so how would they try her as an adult or as a minor ? I mean isn't it the age at the time of inccident?

Yes, she can sign an affidavit. She will be charged as a minor since it is the age when the offense was committed that matters. She needs to understand that signing the affidavit will likely result in her being charged.
