Daughter was at convenience store in Houston. Police started harassing her and her friends. Said they had shifty eyes. They weren't doing anything wrong. They searched vehicle and found a bottle of Jose Cuervo in trunk. MIP charge. Can they do this?

Yes, but conviction will be hard to get unless vehicle was registered to her.
