I recieved an MIP the day before my 21rst birthday, while I was out of town they found an empty alcohol bottle in my dorm room. I have to be in court today...am I getting the short stick on this one?

Hello there,
Being in possession of a bottle that has no alcohol in it is not being in possession of alcohol.
This is a case that can be won on the facts you have presented.
