Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Miranda Rights

Last April I was arrested for: ''illegal use of a vehicle''. My auto note holder filed charges against me after I was 5 months late on my payment; (due to certain circumstances, which I'm sure we could have worked out as paymant plan or something). I spent 90 days in jail. Anyway, I was thinking about the arrest. I waas NEVER read my Miranda Rights. Do I have a chance of the charges being expunged?

Re: Miranda Rights

Based on what you have written, you probably will not qualify for an expunction. This ultimately will be dependent upon the specific facts of your case. You should consider a motion for non-disclosure. This will restrict access to your criminal records by generally not allowing employers, landlords, and others access. If my local criminal defense law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]) to arrange for an initial consultation.
