Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
miranda rights and arrest warrent
My sister in law was arrested tonight with 1 count of engaging in criminal activity and 2 counts of writing fraudulant prescriptions. no arrest warrant was present and no miranda rights were expressed at the time of arrest or when she entered the jail. what can we do to help? Also the reason she submitted a script was because a former friend had threatened the lives of her family if she didn't do it. what can be done now?

Get her a lawyer, and please don't discuss with anyone, except that lawyer, what she might have done or said.
