Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I had a cat fight about 4YRs ago nothing big. My husband having an a affair I had a shoving match with mistress.Well divorced now I'm trying to get my life pieced back together I never had a criminal back ground.Now because of the cat fight I have a class c assult. I'm worried how this will effect my future. I'm currently studying in the medical field will this effect my chances of employment. If so is there any thing I can do. It really was a horriable choice I made I regret it so much I was such in a deppression, and I really was a wonderful wife & mother. I still remain a great a mother.

Consult with an attorney to see if it can be expunged, or at least sealed. If sealed, it would probably still be visible to the medical licensing board, but the circumstances are such that it might not disqualify you. Check the requirements of the particular board.
