Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Misdeamnor
My child was picked up and jailed for theft in a Walmart. She is bonded out now and we have cout Thurday. What are our options? She put some makeup in her purse along with another child. She's 18. Can we get deferred adjudication and probabtion only? Can we get it dropped to a lesser charge?

Possibly if represented by a lawyer. Without an attorney, she will have to represent herself. As her parents, you will not be able to speak on her behalf, since she is an adult.
