I have never had a record I caught my husband cheating 3yrs ago his mistress and i had a confrontation long story short I got a divorce and I also left the marriage with a class c assult charge on my record. Is there any help or hope for me I want to change my career to the medical field. But with this unfortunate sitution I just truly belive my life is a dead end I have 3 kids I was left with also and no help can any one help I truly never done anything to break the law my whole life.

Yes people can help you clear up your record, and get child support collected. Many lawyers will work on a payment plan. Check in your county for lawyers until you find one that you can afford and will work with you.

Based on what you have written, there are remedies within Texas' laws which allow for you to: (i) remove some prior charges and (ii) limit the disclosure of criminal history information. Additionally, if your chldrens' father is not appropriately supporting his children, then there are procedures within the Texas Family Code to assist you with collecting child support.
