Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
misdemeanor cases dismissed
I have had 2 cases dismissed, and chose not to disclose these on an employment application. Is this considered a lie on an application?

Re: misdemeanor cases dismissed
That depends on the question. If you were asked if you had ever been arrested, and these cases are not sealed or expunged, then it was a lie.
If you were asked if you were convicted, then it was not a lie.
