Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

i have a misdemeanor

i have a small theft misdemeanor on my record and i finaly got into a good job as a contractor and i am trying to go permenant and i found out that the company may not hire me for this am i able if it has been since 2003 when i completed probation and convicted in 2002 to get the removed or hidden so i can matain my job. this is the only thing on my records and becaus first offense i was able to avoid jail time.the crime happened in harris county i live in galveston county but my job is in harris county

did you get a deferred probation? If so you are eliglbe for a non-disclosure.
