Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Misdemeanr class A
I had a Jury trial for a Misdemeanor Class C charge in the Municipal court and instead of the Jury trial they dismissed my case subjected to refiling as a misdemeanor class A. Will i get arrested because the charges got enhanced against me. I was accused of the crime about 6 months ago. And Is it possible to stop the case from getting it refiled again at a higher charge.

It depends upon what point in the proceedings the Class C was dismissed. You should get a lawyer, to see if you can get the matter stopped before it goes any further. If jeopard did not attach, and the DA has probably cause to support the Class A, then he can refile it as a Class A.
