Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Misrepresentation of Age
I tried to get into a bar last night with a fake id with my name and
picture on it and i received a citation for misrepresentation of age... how
serious a citation is this? will this go on my record? I am not from TX will
this get back to my home state of Vermont?

It is a Class C misdemeanor(the lowest penalty in Texas) meaning that the offense carries a fine of up to $500.00 with no jail time. You are lucky they did not charge you with Tampering with a Government document or being in possession of a forgery both are felonies. The case has presently charged is not that serious, and I do not believe it will effect your driving privileges.
