Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
when i say "goes missing"..my wifes purse dissapeared after a rollover accident and 2 weeks later the police returned it,and then 6 months later they arrested her on warrant for a citation(which we never got) for possesion.said drugs were in her purse.they are charging her because her ID was in the purse when they found it.

It sounds like it is very suspicious of the purse was found at the scene of the accident because logic dictates that it is unlikely someone would pick up a purse, put drugs in it, then put it back down at the scene of the wreck. At the same time, a good lawyer can possibly get the case dismissed because the slim possibility that someone could have had the purse.
