Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
mistaken identity
hi i was wondering how i find out what the supposed crime my fiance committed is and when did this crime took place because I do not believe he was in the state at the time. I called the number i was given but was told info is not given to public so waht do i do now?

Somewhat depends upon what county it is. Many jurisdictions not only have the current caseload available online, but all outstanding warrants as well. If you still come up empty, hire a lawyer in the county where the charges originated, for the limited purpose of determining what is pending.
