Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Money Orders
My husband's co-worker found a blank money order for $1,000. He asked my husband to cash it for him so he did. The person who lost the money order traced the money order back to my husband and contacted him. My husband explained to her the situation, in which we received no money, and she said she is pressing theft charges against him. Does she have a valid case?

Re: Money Orders
no, does not sound like he had the intent to deprive the person of the money. He was just helping a co-worker.
