Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Mother's suicide?
They tell me that my mother commited suicide but i have a hard time swallowing that. My step dad was putting money in seperate bank accounts a couple months before she died. Also we live in a small town and he is friend with the whole police department. They didn't close the house to investigate and his sis and brother were at the house less than 3 hours after they took my mom and they were cleaning and bleaching?? How can this happen? They just take his word for it? I thought they at least needed to tape off house and do some kind of check? help please

Re: Mother's suicide?
If you are convinced that the local law enforcementor District Attorney's office would not properly investigate; make contact with the criminal investigations unit of the Texas Rangers, and see if they can provide guidance.
