Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Motion to Disover
I am a police officer that has recently been given a ''Consumption After Hours'' citation even though I had not been consuming alcohol. I am fighting this charge in court (trial by jury) but it has come to my attention that I need to file a ''motion to disover'' to obtain access to police videos/recordings. How do you author such a motion and what points must be covered in order for it to be accepted? ... any input as of my chances and the steps need to file a civil lawsuit against the police department for slander leading to an unemployable state as well as a criminal lawsuit against the officer for fileing a false report would also be helpfull.

Re: Motion to Disover
As you were so well taught in your training academy as a peace officer, you need to talk to your attorney about all of the questions you are asking.
