Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Multi county indictments
If a domestic violence case happened on the county line and was no billed in one county, can it be revisited in the other county. There are charges in two counties, the charges which were not no billed in the other county are still in process. And can we go back and revisit the no billed part of the case for lesser charges?
Thank you!

Re: Multi county indictments
Generally the place an offense happened is proved to show the proper court is handling the matter. It is part of the proof for a conviction. So, one county might not take the case and the other might if an alledged offense was close to the county line....
