Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Murder Investigation
Can a relative request all documents pertaining to the investigation of a murder from the sheriff's department and the district attorney's office. Both defendants have plea bargagined their charges and the case is closed.

It is not likely that you can get access to the attorney's files. You can go to the district clerk and get a copy of the items in the court's file, including copies of items entered into evidence.
If you have a legitimate cause of action, and you file a civil suit, then discovery will allow you access to more information.
