I have not personally heard of a "naked plea," but i assume this means pleading to the judge without a recommendation from the prosecutor. When you plea guilty, without a rec from the prosecutor, the judge can basically sentence the defendant to anything in the range of punishment, so i could consider this a "naked plea" since you are hanging out there with no protection and praying to god the judge has mercy on the defendant.
