non arrest citation for assault
during a recent vacation my wife was leaving to go the store when she noticed that our rental car was blocked by a car she blew the horn to get someone to come outside because she did not know which condo unit the driver was in. Someone finally cane to the door and said they one be down right away about 10 mins passed and she was still blocked in she asked me if I would go up and ask them to move. I knocked on the door and gentleman came out with an attitude I ask him i He could move the car that was blocking us in. He angrily replied'' you are in my space you can't park there you should not have parked there. I told himI did not know it was his space and just would like for to move his vehicle. He kept saying it was his space. I finally said just move the car. He siad he did not like my tone and was not moving anything. he then went inot the passenger side rear of the car and pulled out a brief case I was standing at the rear of our rental which was also by the stairs he began walking towards me. i put my forearm out parallel with my chest and and said move your car he kept walking forward and came in contact with my arm I did not push him our strike him he called the police and said I assaulted him what do i do?

I would recommend that you get a lawyer to take this to trial. Did you file assault charges against him?
