nursing license

I was given two seperate cases in which I recieved a pretrial and deferred adjudification I am fixing to finish RN school and i am worried about this effecting my license. Both cases were drug related what can i do to protect myself happened from 6-8 yrs ago

It will be hard, and you need to hire a lawyer soon to prepare the way. Both cases are still on your record, but both should show up as dismissals. You should be able to get an Order of Non-Disclosure. This order however, does not really solve your problem, since the agency would still be able to access the file, and you would still have to report it. It would be worth your while to have an attorney assist you in preparing the RN application, and the explanatory documents supporting your license application.
