How does First Offender Program works??
I have been arrested and charged for robery in a Mall Store. And I have to be in court. I don't know what to expect. It's my first crime in my life, I'm 19/

Get a lawyer. If you were not automatically routed to a diversion program, it is possible that an attorney can accomplish this. Often the costs of the program are similar to the costs of deferred or straight probation; but the savings over not having a criminal record are enormous. The cost of the attorney are well worth it.
