Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
If an officer stops you in your vehicle finds contraband but never arrest you, never writes you a ticket and did not impound the vehicle but seized the contraband in this case cd's and dvd's. Can you dispute the inventory count of alleged seized items since there is ni paper trail nor did he count up the inventory in my presense.

You can do whatever you want. You can file an IAD complaint. You can write a letter asking for your items back. But, just because he did not do anything at the time does not mean that he cannot do anything now. Rock the boat and expect charges.
Also, the inventory need not be done in front of you.
