Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Onlin solicitation of a minor and attempted aggravated sexual assault

I am looking for advice. I am a US citizen . My children's father is in th US on a h1b work visa from India. He has been charged with online solicitation of a minor and attempted aggravated sexual assault of a child who was 13. It was an internet crime sting operation. He has no money at all for a lawyer and knows no one who can help him in getting a lawyer. He has no prior legal issues at all. He has been in the US since 2004. He is not a pedophile or anything of that sort. He has a history of meeting women online, but none under age. I am not sure how familiar he is with US laws. Can someone offer any advice or insight as to what the outcome could be for this situation?

These are serious charges. If he does not have money for a lawyer, he should request the court to appoint him one.

Only your husband's lawyer can give legal advise. Your husband must have an attorney. If he cannot afford one, then the court will appoint one.
