Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I just saw online I have an outstanding warrant for theft <$50, shoplifting in Terrell, tx even though I dispute the allegations. My drivers license is up for renewal this month (Dec). Will I be able to renew or if I go to local office to renew will I be arrested? What can I do/what are my options?

If you have a warrant in a municipal / JP court, they may not renew your license. If your are not near that county, then it is unlikely you will be arrested, though, because of the cost involved in providing travel to that county / city for the case. Your best bet is to hire a lawyer where the ticket is pending and go forward in settling the case.
