Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
paid attorney to file a non-disclosure on a criminal case and a expungement on a dismissed case was told paperwork had been filed but when i contacted the court system was told nothing had been filed now i just want $1000.00 back i gave him because nothing has been done

if you paid a lawyer to do a service which they have not done in a timely manner, I would consider filing a grievance with the State Bar.
