Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Parole
If a person is coming up for parole and is in solitary confinement, can they be paroled. A inlaw I know is getting a parole atty.Would if be worth the money. The reason I am asking is she is asking us for a donation and before I give I want to know if it is worth it. Thank you

You are right to step very lightly here. There are legitimate parole attorneys that specialize in this very narrow field of law. There are also many scams floating around, and prison is an excellent place to fine-tune them. You should ask for the name and contact information of the attorney, and do some checking, including talking to the attorney. Good luck.
