Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
parole violation
I was convicted of a felony on 7 15 94 and sentenced to 5yrs prob. I violated and on 2 1 96 was sent to TDC for a 3 year term for same crime. Once released I stoped reporting. I have not had a parole hearing of any kind and my parole time was over on 4 25 of 99. Q; Is my time on parole over? Q: Will I have to serve remaing time in a TDCJID INST.

Re: parole violation
If you again violated parole by failing to report after your release, then you are again a PV. Failing to complete the conditions of parole usually means a return to the institution to serve the balance of the paroled term.
In TX you will do time in the TDC if you are sentenced to the balance of the parole time for PV.
