Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
If a person is awaiting trial for felony drug charges, and trial date has been continued many times, can the trial include behavior or crimes committed while waiting for original trial?

The punishment portion of the trial can. And in very, very limited circumstances (such as entrapment), it could be in the guilt / not guilty portion of the trial, too - but not at all likely.

If there are subsequent offenses, they are can be set on the same day in the same court so they can all be disposed of in one plea bargain on the same day.
