Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
A person is convicted of theft 2 to 20 K from elderly. Sentenced to 2 yrs. probation. One provision of probation included make restitution. Person did not adher to probation requirements and was filed on Motion to Revoke. Subsequently, Person sentenced to 2 years TDCJ. If after serving full 2 years in TDCJ, will person still be required to make restitution?

No. Once a person completes his or her sentence and is not on any sort of supervised release, he or she cannot be required to make restitution payments.
