Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Can a person be denied legal cousel?
My daughter was charged with several things after the death of her youngest son. She was convicted of a lesser included charge for one but has 4 more pending. The court has changed from a jury trial on Dec 1 2008 to a status hearing on Sept 7, 2009. She is presently incarcerated and the court has yet to appoint her an attorney. We cant afford the $25000 most want to charge. What are our options. I feel like she is being abused by the system and need help and direction.
