Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
if a person got 25 yrs for murder in 1995 then jump bail 1996 with 10ys do they have to servie both terms

If they were assessed sentences, they must serve them. The question is whether they get credit for both at the same time. That will be answered in the judgement and sentence - either they are concurrent (same time) or consecutive (one begins to run after the other is finished or the person makes parole on the first one - which means the person is not released on the first one but begins to get credit on the second one.)
