Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I wish to petition for an expungment of a theft_CK_20. In anticipation of a position that I wish to apply for, I ran a background on myself and this popped up. The case was dismissed in 1994. In relation to the expungement forms, is there anyway to expedite a hearing date in Dallas County sooner than the 30 days after the date of the filing?

There really is no way to expedite the expunction process because part of the process is to give the parties who have a right to object the opportunity to do so (usually the county/district attorney and DPS). You can't just decide to give them less time. From start to finish, the process takes about 6 months.
