Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
i was picked out of a police line up as a suspect in a crime. the victim stated that he was 45% sure that i was the suspect. My question is the legality of the 45% sure statement being probable cause

Probable Cause is a level of certainty that an officer must have to arrest you at the time of the arrest. I'm not sure that the 45% certainty at a line up is relevant unless you were arrested after the line up. 45% sure could be interpreted to mean that he is 55% sure it was not you
