Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
plea agreement
i signed for 7 days in jail because i didnt have the full amount of my restitution of $530, i now have the money and I'm due to turn myself in 07/07/06, my attorney is charging me an extra $100 to renegotiate. My friend told me once the judge has made a judgment I cant go back in court and try to pay the restitution. She said the attorney just wants some money, but he cannot get the judge to change his ruling...
have you ever heard of a judge taking restitution after an individual already signed for their time?
